Program

DAY 1 to 3
Mabula Game Lodge – Waterberg – Bela Bela
Close encounter: Elephants, Cheetah



On your arrival at Johanneburg airport you will be met by your Loisico guide and transferred to Mabula Game Lodge in the beautiful Waterberg region. Here you will have your first contact with animals. The 4x4 safaris will present you with many photo opportunities, allowing you to appreciate the wonders of the region around you whether at dawn or dusk.
It from here also that you will have your first two close encounters, the mighty Elephant the nimble cheetah.

DAY 4 to 6
Ukutula Lions Lodge – Bethanie – Brits
Close encounter: Lions



A last morning safari, breakfast and then you are off to Ukutula an enchanting lodge just two hours away. Feel your adrenaline mounting as you walk with two teenager lions in the bush. Let your hearts melt as you take the baby lion cubs into your arms. Observe the rare white lion. Play with the older lion cubs. Ukutula offers an unimaginable experience with memories to last a lifetime. The night leaves you to fall asleep to the melody of roaring lions.

DAY 6 to 9
Portswood Hotel – V&A Waterfront –Cape Town
Close encounter: Whales or Great White Sharks



It’s time to leave the bush and it’s wildlife behind and head to Cape Town, the beautiful mother city of South Africa! On your arrival your guide will meet you and take you on an orientation of Cape Town . You will visit the colourful houses of the bo-kaap and discover the vibrant people behind and, if the weather and time permits, head off to the top of Table Mountain to enjoy the spectacular panoramic view of the peninsula. Otherwise admire the town from Signal hill, a destination where you will find many locals enjoying the sunset. ,
Cape of Good Hope
Our itinerary takes us along the Cape Peninsula, set between two oceans, one warm one cold. Encounter seals, penguins and explore the mythical Cape of Good Hope, one of the most beautiful peninsulas in the world. End the day visiting the magnificent Kirstenbosh gardens, a botanists dream.
Close encounter – Sharks or Whales
The whale route is a discovery in itself. From June to November the Southern Right Whale makes this part of the world its home. Hermanus is famous for the being one of the best areas in the world to observe these mighty creatures from the land.

OR

Take the plunge, this is great white country. Gansbay, a breeding ground for Great White Sharks, is just 160km out of Cape Town and here, even inexperienced divers can observe the great white shark up close and personal from the safety of a galvanised cage attached to the boat. For those who prefer not to get into the water, enjoy the view from the boat, it is just as impressive

DAY 10
Close encounters of the African kind must come to an end. Our services end when we drop you off at the airport and wish you good bye from our beautiful country
