This reserve is owned by a family known for their love of nature and animals. Many injured animals have been rehabilitated and released in the wild here, which leads to exceptional viewing of animals, getting really close up. Morning and evening safaris are also included at this lodge. A highlight is finding the cheetah on the drive and going for a walk with them as they make their way through the bush, or hang around with them as they take a siesta in the shade. An incredible experience you will never forget.

Each day at the break of dawn and just before sunset you will set off with your Ranger in search of the Big 5 animals of Africa, perhaps even the elusive leopard will cross your path! For those who would like to get up close bush walks are available after morning breakfast.
DAY 7 to 9
Commodore – V&A Waterfront –Cape Town
Best Of Majestic Landscapes
It’s time to leave the bush and it’s wildlife behind and head to Cape Town, the beautiful mother city of South Africa! On your arrival your guide will meet you and take you on an orientation of Cape Town . You will visit the colourful houses of the bo-kaap and discover the vibrant people behind and, if the weather and time permits, head off to the top of Table Mountain to enjoy the spectacular panoramic view of the peninsula. Otherwise admire the town from Signal hill, a destination where you will find many locals enjoying the sunset.
While in Cape Town you will be staying 5 minutes’ walk from the hustling and bustling waterfront. Far enough to enjoy a good night’s rest but close enough to enjoy all the entertainment, restaurants and shops at one of the biggest malls situated on the water’s edge.
A typical day while in Cape Town will start with breakfast at the hotel and and your guide will meet you at 9am at the reception for your excursion each day.
Your guide will decide, according to the weather, which excursion will be best for the day (See descriptions of each excursion below). The evenings will generally be open for you to explore the restaurants and waterfront close by or to just relax in your room. We have decided to leave the choice of restaurants up to you, so you can choose according to your taste from the variety of options available at the waterfront - but of course your guide can direct you as to where his favorite spots are. (There are so many good spots in Cape Town)
On your last night, dinner will be on us... our farewell dinner to you.
Cape of Good Hope
Our itinerary takes us along the Cape Peninsula, set between two oceans, one warm one cold. Encounter seals, penguins and explore the mythical Cape of Good Hope, one of the most beautiful peninsulas in the world. End the day visiting the magnificent Kirstenbosch gardens, a botanists dream. Lunch will enjoyed at a restaurant enroute.
The wine region, set on the foot of imposing mountains, the regions of Paarl, Stellenbosch and Franschoek await you. Savour wines from these different regions, and visit the charming villages in the surrounding area. Sample local delicacies and delight in the countryside around you. A culinary delight awaits you at lunch time where you will stop off at a wine farm and enjoy the local cuisine, while marvelling at the scenery around you.
All good things must come to an end. The end of the best safari, the best landscapes and the best animal encounter, but the beginning of many stories to recite, photos to show and memories to share. Our services end when we drop you off at the airport and wish you good bye from our beautiful country..
