Program

Day 1 Johannesburg – Malelane (South Kruger)

You will be met by a Loisico representative who will help you with taking charge of your vehicle and any other little last minute things you might need to do. After which, make your way to the south of the Kruger to your accommodation In Malelane about a 4h30 drive.
We have chosen an accommodation that overlooks the Crocodile River with magnificent views of the Kruger. If you have booked a sunset drive in the kruger then make your way to Malelane Gate, where your ranger will be waiting for you at around 16h45 to take you on your pre-booked sunset drive into the park.(times will be confirmed to you). Be sure to take dress warmly, it can get chilly…


Day 2 Malelane – Malelane (B)

After an early morning breakfast it’s off to discover the Kruger on your own. We recommend doing the Southern Loop via Crocodile Bridge and Lower Sabie. (Option to do a full day Game Drive in an open safari vehicle with ranger) Return in the early afternoon to relax a bit at the pool. Enjoy the sunset while keeping a watch out for the resident Rhino and other animals that come to drink at the river, who knows you might even see the elusive leopard.


Day 3 Malelane – Sabie River Bush Lodge Hazyview (BD)

After breakfast it’s off to further north of the park. Driving leisurely through the park to your next destination which also overlooks the Park, but this time on the Sabie River. Check in in the afternoon and relax at the pool or take an afternoon nap. If you have booked a sunset drive in the Kruger make your way to the Paul Kruger Gate (a mere 20km away) where your game ranger will be waiting to take you on the sunset drive (time to be advised), to this time see a different part of the park at night. Return to a lovely dinner after which enjoy the sounds of the night before going off to your beds for a good night’s rest.


Day 4 Sabie Bush River – Tshukudu Hoedspruit (BD)

After breakfast it’s off to one of the Private Game Reserves bordering the Kruger (opportunity to stop off at the Elephant Sanctuary in Hazyview) We recommend to travel via the Kruger to enable explore the central part up until Satara then via Orpen Gate. Arrive at your lodge in time for your afternoon game drive though (around 3pm) After your game drive enjoy a delicious dinner after which it’s time to either relax or off to bed to prepare for you early morning bush walk.

Day 5 Tshukudu – Tshukudu (BLD)

Your ranger will fetch you at the pre-arranged time for you early morning bush walk with some of the orphaned animals at tshukudu. A sensational experience knowing that at any time you could cross one of the big 5 animals of Africa. But the rangers are well equipped, never fear. After your walk a wonderful breakfast awaits you after which you are free to enjoy the day lazing at the pool, reading a book visiting the panoramic route or if you have booked an additional open vehicle game drive then it’s off to explore some more.
The afternoon meet your ranger for another 4x4 safari game drive in which you will search for the Big 5 and other animals in the park. After which another dinner and off to bed for your last night in the Kruger.

Day 6 Tshukudu - Johannesburg (B)

A last bush walk followed by breakfast and then it’s time to pack the bags and make your way back to Johannesburg. If you have time way through the Panoramic Route, stopping off at viewpoint overlooking the Blyde river canyon, Bourkes Luck Potholes, Gods window and why not Pilgrims Rest an ancient mining village.
